With over 630 members, the Hyannis Area Chamber of Commerce, located at 397 Main Street, is Cape Cod's largest local chamber. The active board of directors and experienced year-round staff's goal is to make the seven villages and adjacent towns of Barnstable a better place to visit, live, and work.
The chamber also operates the JFK Hyannis Museum, a popular destination with all-season appeal. In 2008, an exhibit honoring the Cape Cod Baseball League opened at the museum. Events like the annual Father's Day Car Show are sponsored by the chamber. These attractions bring an estimated 60,000 visitors to Barnstable annually.
Business communities in all seven villages benefit from chamber seminars and events. Our Web site, www.hyannis.com, offers member information; a user-friendly guide book is available by e-mailing guidebook@hyannis.com; and a new feature, "Here For You," directs residents to a listing of year-round businesses for goods and services.
