Cape Cod Life’s Food and Wine Festival
A showcase of the area’s finest chefs and restaurants in a sampling of unique cultural venues.
The event kicks off with the Grand Tasting at the beautiful new Rectrix Aerodrome at Barnstable Municipal Airport. Enjoy a gala evening of local cuisine, wines from around the world, and a celebrity chef cooking demonstration. Artists and musicians from the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod will present original works and live music for a truly spectacular celebration. Proceeds from the evening benefit The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod.
The Grand Tasting event leads into a week of Taste of Culture receptions that capture the richness of Cape Cod's art, history and environment; Featuring a different venue per evening with a full complement of wines, food and local culture. Proceeds from these events will benefit each hosting organization.
NEW THIS YEAR at week's end Heritage Museums and Gardens in Sandwich will host a Tasting Finale. In this unique and beautiful location restaurants and wineries will offer luscious samplings of food and wines. The auto barn, art and American History museums display wonderful artifacts and art depicting the richness of Cape Cod's history amidst the ever present Dexter Rhododendrons in full bloom at that time throughout the grounds.
