The Truro Chamber of Commerce has about 90 members from the towns of Truro, Wellfleet, and Provincetown. The chamber's information booth, located on Route 6 at Head of the Meadow Road in North Truro, is highly visible, and aids over 30,000 visitors a season. A knowledgeable staff sends folks on their way with accurate information and an occasional story.

"The chamber has made many friends over the years, and in Truro these friends often become neighbors," says chamber spokesperson Jane Peters.

The Truro chamber's Web site, www.trurochamberofcommerce.com, guides cyber-visitors to member pages. The organization also prints and distributes about 20,000 attractive, informative guide books a year. The cover is always a view of the Cape Cod Light.

The chamber is currently working on a guide to aid newcomers, filled with useful information and snippets of Truro history.
