Cape Cod Life Publications has moved from North Street, Hyannis to a more energy-efficient office space, located at 13 Steeple Street in Mashpee Commons. "The move from an older, less efficient building in Hyannis to a brighter, smaller, and more environmentally friendly space in Mashpee has reduced our operating costs and it will also reduce our carbon footprint," said Brian Shortsleeve, CEO, publisher, and founder of Cape Cod Life Publications. "This is our way of giving back and doing more for the environment."

Cape Cod Life's moved to Mashpee Commons at the end of February 2010. The company is planning an open house at the new headquarters soon.

As part of the company's commitment to going green, the April 2010 edition of Cape Cod Life magazine will be the company's first ever green issue. The entire issue, which will be on newsstands at the end of this month, will be printed on recycled paper and will focus on all aspects of green living, building, and buying on the Cape and Islands.

"We wanted to do something special for our first green issue and choosing recycled paper is the perfect way to showcase this important edition," says Susan Dewey, managing editor of Cape Cod Life Publications. "Not only will our April issue be on recycled paper, we plan on printing Cape Cod Life on recycled paper for the rest of 2010 and beyond."
