The Yarmouth Area Chamber of Commerce serves over 400 businesses. A board of directors, full- time staff, and seasonal volunteers advocate for members and provide services to both visitors and year-round residents at its Information Center. The chamber's mission is to build a healthy economic climate through the efforts of its members by providing better community marketing programs and offering small business assistance.

The chamber helps implement long-term redevelopment strategies. The organization also sponsors workshops during the off-season to strengthen the skills of local employers.

The Yarmouth Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors Summer Band Concerts in July and August and takes the lead for the Seaside Festival Parade in October. Every month throughout the year, the chamber holds Business After Hours events at different venues.
