Contest Rules

1. The Categories - Enter in one or more of these categories:


Cape Characters - Seascapes - Photographer's Choice.


2. The Format Submit only 8" x 10" color prints or larger. Submit up to three photos, but make sure a copy of the entry form is on the back of each submission. Photocopies and images not properly labeled will not be considered. Photos may not be digitally-enhanced or computer-generated.

3. The Submissions
- Mail photos in a protective envelope to Cape Cod Life Photo Contest, 60 North Street, Hyannis, MA 02601. A $20 entry fee (per 1-3 photos payable to Cape Cod Life) must accompany each submission. Photos will become the property of Cape Cod Life Publications and will not be returned.

4. The Deadline
- All entries must be postmarked by December 31, 2009. Winners will be announced in the June 2010 issue of Cape Cod Life.

5. The Prizes
- The Grand Prize winner will win a trip for two to Martha's Vineyard for a weekend (two nights). In each of the three categories, four cash prizes will be awarded: 1st Place $150, 2nd Place $100, 3rd Place $50, Honorable Mention $25. Grand Prize is good for 12 months after announcement of the winner.


We retain all publication rights for all photographs. Some may be used in issues other than June 2010, on our website and/or in other CCL publications. No payment for use of winning photos will be made in addition to prize money. Cape Cod Life employees and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
