The Oak Bluffs harbor scene at sunset has the fun feel of Carnival, with several outdoor bars and restaurants and a throng of folks out for a good time. Coop de Ville is a good choice here for a dining experience that's even more casual than your living room.
Outdoor seating faces the water for a view that's poetry in motion--ferries, sail boats, fishing boats, and ospreys. The menu features local seafood--steamers and corn, mussels, boiled lobsters, fresh chowder, fried clams, and a raw bar. But they also serve great burgers as well as eight varieties of Buffalo chicken wings, beer ontap, and wine by the glass. The restaurant is kid-friendly, and the setting is perfect for an after-dinner stroll. --By C.C.
